Which free interview feedback tools are worth trying?
Start with the tool that fits the round you're facing. Huru gives every feature free to job seekers, interviewing.io's AI interviewer is free for coding and system design, and Aced's Basic plan includes 5 peer mocks a month. The table lists 11 free tiers from each tool's own page, checked October 24, 2026.
| Tool | Free tier | Feedback you get free | Lowest paid price (USD) | One-line verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Huru | Every feature for job seekers | Each answer scored out of 100, a feedback report, your recording with a synced transcript | No paid plan for job seekers | The most generous free tier in the category |
| interviewing.io | The AI Interviewer | A FAANG-style coding or system design mock | Human mocks "start at $179" | The best free option for engineers |
| Aced (formerly Exponent) | Basic: 5 peer mocks a month, no card | Feedback from your practice partner after each mock | $12 a month (Pro), shown as 70% off $79 | Free human feedback, if a peer's view is enough |
| Yoodli | Starter: up to 5 roleplays in total | Feedback on live AI roleplays and on recordings you upload | $8 a month, billed annually (Pro) | Small but flexible, since it reviews uploads |
| Prept | 1 interview hour transcribed and debriefed, no card | A debrief of a real interview you recorded with consent | $29 a month or $69 a quarter | The free option built for a real interview |

Prices are in US dollars and come from each tool's own page. Free tiers change often, so check the page again before you rely on one. None of the tools was scored for this list, and none of the vendors' claims was tested.
What counts as interview feedback in this list?
Feedback here means a review of something you said: a scored answer, a written report, a peer's notes or a debrief of a real interview. Free courses and question banks are useful too. They're listed only when a tool offers nothing else free, so you can see what each free tier leaves out.
Most free feedback is on practice. You answer a question the tool sets, and it scores or reviews that answer. Feedback on a real interview is rarer, because it needs a recording or careful notes from the round itself. The free 10-minute debrief template covers the second case with no tool at all.
Which free tool gives the most feedback?
Huru gives the most for nothing. Its homepage, checked October 24, 2026, says every feature for job seekers is free, including unlimited mock interviews, the full AI feedback report and a live AI interviewer. Each answer is scored out of 100 on relevance, structure, specificity, impact and articulation.
Huru's report arrives a few minutes after you finish, with a verdict, the three things to work on next and your recording with a synced transcript, per the same page. The overall score combines answer quality (70%) with conversation skills (30%). Huru offers a paid Enterprise plan to universities and hiring teams. Verdict: the most generous free tier in the category.
Which free tools are best for technical interviews?
For engineering and product rounds, interviewing.io and Aced are the free picks. The interviewing.io AI Interviewer is free and covers coding and system design. Aced's Basic plan includes 5 peer mocks a month with no credit card, and your practice partner gives you feedback after each one.
The interviewing.io FAQ says the AI Interviewer "simulates a FAANG-style interview." Paid mocks with human engineers "start at $179," with a full refund if you're unhappy. Verdict: the best free option for engineers.
Aced, formerly Exponent, now hosts Pramp. Pramp's site says that as of July 2024 all new Pramp sessions run on Aced Practice, where peers interview each other for 30 to 45 minutes and then give each other feedback. AI interview feedback is on Aced's Expert AI plan, listed at $20 a month. Verdict: free human feedback, if a peer's view is enough.
Hello Interview keeps its learning content free, and its Premium plans start at $47 for 1 month. Premium includes AI practice interviews, each ending with a hire or no-hire decision and a written report. Verdict: free to study, paid for feedback.
Which free tools review a recording you already have?
Two tools in the table review a recording you bring. Yoodli's free Starter plan gives feedback on recordings you upload, within its limit of 5 roleplays in total. Prept's free tier transcribes and debriefs 1 interview hour of a real round you recorded with everyone's consent.
Yoodli's pricing page says any session over 30 seconds counts as a roleplay, including feedback on uploaded recordings, so the 5 free sessions go quickly. Pro is $8 a month, billed annually, for up to 10 roleplays a week. On Starter and Pro, the page says session data may be used to improve the platform. Verdict: small but flexible, since it reviews uploads.
Prept's line is analysis after the call, never during it, and its debrief quotes the moment you lost the room. The free tier needs no card. Search costs $29 a month or $69 a quarter, with 7 days free on a card, per the pricing page on October 24, 2026. Verdict: the free option built for a real interview.
Recording needs consent. Ask to record your interview at the start of the call, and if the answer is no, the debrief template works from memory. If you do record, you can get your first interview debrief once the round is over.
What do live-help tools give away free?
Final Round AI, Verve AI and Parakeet AI are built to help during a live interview, and each offers some free feedback on practice. Their own pages, checked October 24, 2026, also advertise staying hidden on screen share. Employers that publish rules ask for no AI in a live interview unless they allow it.
Final Round AI's subscription page lists a "Basic AI interview report" on the free plan. Its homepage puts practice interviews and automatic AI debriefs under Pro, from $25 a month, and calls Stealth Mode "100% invisible" and "100% undetectable." Verdict: little feedback on the free plan.
Verve AI's pricing page gives its free plan 3 copilot sessions of 15 minutes and 5 AI interview reports. It says its desktop app "stays undetectable during screen sharing and remains visible only to you." Verdict: usable reports, in a product built around live help.
Parakeet AI's pricing page offers a 10-minute free session and says "Your first mock interview is free," with a transcript to read afterward. It describes the product as "Completely undetectable, completely yours." Verdict: one free mock with a transcript.
Anthropic's guidance asks for "no AI assistance unless we indicate otherwise" in live interviews. Greenhouse's guidelines say a candidacy "may be disqualified" if AI is used outside them without disclosure. Practice is a separate question, covered in AI interview help that isn't cheating, and Prept vs Final Round AI goes row by row.
Which tools have no free feedback?
Big Interview shows no free tier on its personal pricing page, and Google's Interview Warmup appears to be gone. Big Interview may still be free through a school or employer, since its enterprise page counts universities among more than 700 organizations using it. Warmup's old address now opens a general article.
Big Interview's personal pricing page lists $39 for a 30-day subscription, $99 for three months and $299 for lifetime access, with a 100% refund if you don't see results within 30 days. Its enterprise page names universities, workforce agencies and nonprofits among its customers. Verdict: check for school access first. More is in Prept vs Big Interview.
On October 24, 2026, Google's Interview Warmup address redirected to a Grow with Google article titled "How to prepare for an interview," dated December 11, 2025. No practice tool loaded. Verdict: no longer available as a tool, and Prept vs Google Interview Warmup covers the change.
How should you choose a free interview feedback tool?
Match the tool to the round: Huru for behavioral practice, interviewing.io or Aced for coding and system design, and Yoodli or Prept for a recording you already have. Use one tool until its free tier stops answering your questions. Then decide whether the next step is worth paying for.
Read what each free tier leaves out before you sign up. Yoodli's 5 roleplays are a lifetime total, Aced's 5 peer mocks are a monthly allowance, and Prept's free tier covers 1 interview hour. For paid options beyond these, see Final Round AI alternatives.
