Free interview question generator
The questions you will be asked, and what they are really checking.
Paste the job description and choose the interview. We pick the questions most likely to come up in that round, show you why each one is on the list, quoting the job description where it is the reason, and say what the interviewer is listening for.

How the questions are chosen.
How do you pick the questions?
From a bank of interview questions, each tagged with how likely it is in each kind of round. The job description moves them up or down: a job that asks you to lead people brings the question about leading a team, a stated salary band brings the salary question, a fast-paced job brings the one about competing priorities. Only one question of each kind is shown, so seven questions are seven different answers to prepare, not seven ways of saying "tell me about yourself". A model never picks the questions; it only writes what each interviewer is listening for.
Is it the same list for every job?
No. The common questions change with the round and with what the job description asks for, and the questions about the job's own requirements are written from that job description alone. Each one is kept only if it quotes a requirement that is really in the posting.
Can I see answers?
The first two questions come with the shape of a strong answer. A real answer has to come from your own work, which this page has not seen. In a free account Prept reads your resume into facts you confirm and writes your answers for the recruiter call from them, with no figure you did not give, checks your resume against the job's requirements, and lets you practise answers out loud in the Mock room and get them scored.
Do you keep what I paste?
Yes, so you can pick up where you left off: the job description and the questions are kept on our server until you ask us to delete them. Every result has a "Delete this now" link, or email hello@prept.fyi. If you create an account, the job comes with you. The job description is sent to Google's Gemini to write the guidance; Google does not use it to improve its products.
Where can I read more about a question?
The interview question guides take the common questions one at a time: what is being tested, how to structure the answer, and the mistakes that lose the room. The free ATS checker and free resume optimizer help you get the interview in the first place.
